GaylonWhiteBaseball.com - Tribute to Tom Jordan
Thomas Jefferson Jordan, Sr. died August 26 at his home in Roswell, NM. He was the oldest living Major League Baseball player at the time – 10 days shy of his 100th birthday on Sept. 5. We’ll be paying tribute to Tom with videos taken in early June 2019 by author Gaylon White. These videos cover a number of different topics and provide insight into a man and baseball player you won’t find in any of his statistics. His career batting average in the majors of .240 and one home run in 100 at bats for the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians and St. Louis Browns don’t begin to tell Tom’s story. These videos reveal a lot more. Enjoy. Snow
